Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to be based in one of our client's depots in the Bellshill area.
The Assistant Manager will be working for a national company and supporting a Depot Manager throughout various departments within the company with a view to ultimately become a depot manager in the future. Initially this role will involve working in all departments such as weighbridge, in the yard, administration and on site to learn all aspects of the business. Managers will ultimately be responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental issues on site, administration and various HR issues, and full operational management.

Previous supervisory/management experience and Health and Safety knowledge is essential. The successful Assistant Manager must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a hands on role and have the ability to motivate a team as well as ensuring H&S requirements are met. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
This role is working Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 7am - 12pm but full training and support along the way will be provided.
