This role will be covering the Midlands and surrounding areas. This role is a new business role which will them involve account managing business clients in the Midlands and South of the UK.

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an exceptional Business Development Manager to work for a rapidly expanding company within the financial services division. This role will be covering the Midlands and surrounding areas. This role is a new business role which will them involve account managing business clients in the Midlands and South of the UK.

Main duties will involve:

*Research and targeting new prospects; hunting out new business and networking to increase referrals
*Customers will be, but not limited to include debt management, claims, mortgage companies
*Promoting the services and benefits of using company services and products
*Managing new and existing accounts to develop and retain the amount of instruction we receive on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
*Full responsibility from initial introduction through to completion
*Providing on-going support and training to their senior management and internal sales and customer service teams to make sure new processes run smoothly.

Previous Business Development experience is essential for this role. You will be supported by a team of appointment coordinators that will manage the customer's needs, make contact with their customers and arrange all appointments. The successful Business Development Officer must be able to demonstrate Strong IT & Excel skills and be flexible to make overnight stays where necessary and to make trips to Head Office for management meetings once a month minimum. We are looking for a "hunter" mentality and someone who is used to structured sales, a keen networker with an inquisitive nature to maximise every opportunity to initiate, develop and retain business. A full UK driving license and car is required for this role.
