Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Estimator/Bid Administrator to support a business Electrical Installation company within the Blyth area. Main duties involve:
* Estimating the cost, materials and resources required to achieve client specification
* Chasing pricing and quotes from suppliers for required materials
* Generating quotations and tenders proposals to clients
*Updating and maintaining all spreadsheet information on costings
* Producing all quotes, tenders and pricing information to clients
* Providing administration support to the Contracts Manager and Project Engineers
* Producing management reports on spreadsheets and typing of reports as required

Previous Estimator and Quote Production experience is essential for this role. The successful Estimator must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to tight timescales, have strong attention to detail and have an awareness of the Electrical/Health & Safety standards. Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft office is a pre-requisite.
