The Role:
As the Bid Administrator/Business Development Assistant you will work closely with the Commercial Assistant to oversee all bid management and marketing duties for the company. Based in Bolton, the main duties will include:

* Bid management duties including production of tender and bid information
* Carrying out competitor analysis within the marketplace
* Producing and reviewing procedures to attract new clients and retain existing clients
* Working with the Commercial Assistant to produce relevant marketing materials
* Carrying out all online and offline marketing duties
* Production and creation of press releases and newsletters as required
* Overseeing website content management
* Maintaining the company database in regards to leading and coordinating bid information
* Ensuring the company is represented in a positive and professional manner at all times
* Assisting the production of non-technical bid authoring


The Candidate:
Previous experience within a bid/tendering administration role is required. The successful Bid Administrator/Business Development Assistant must be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with people at all levels, strong attention to detail and a team player. Own transport is essential as travel to another site may be required.
