My client have a reputation for high quality, they are recognised as a global partner and the market leader in the supply of towers, metal cabinets and a full range of telecoms hardware products to the UK Telecommunications industry. They are looking for a knowledgeable Sales Account Manager to join their sales team.

THE ROLE

As a Sales Account Manager you will be expected to work autonomously in developing and maintaining sales pipeline of company products with contracted customers and opening up new business opportunities within the telecoms market. Working towards agreed targets within key accounts you will be tasked with managing the South East territory. You will be working mostly from home so will be expected to manage your own time and diary of appointments reporting into the office when necessary. From initial contact, presenting to board level and managing the account this is a full 360 sales role. It will be your responsibility to keep up to date with company policies, product lines and marketing promotions. This role will involve a large amount of travel throughout the South East.

THE CANDIDATE

As a Sales Account Manager will be a champion of selling telecoms products to both new and existing clients. You will follow up on all sales leads for your region and endeavour to provide a solution to client's requirements. We would expect you to have working knowledge of a variety of telecoms products, ranging from wireless, broadband and enterprise products, indoor and outdoor networks and powered fibre cable systems. A strong background in telecoms is essential in order to succeed in this role.
