Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer; Business Development Manager
Location: Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas (to cover Southern UK)
Salary: Up to £30k DOE plus company car, pension, laptop, mobile and 25 days holiday

The Role:
As the Technical Sales Engineer/Business Development Manager you will actively promote all products and services for a well-established leading manufacturer. Covering the Southern England area, the main duties will include:
* Deliver within the assigned territory profitable growth, through development of orders from new and existing accounts
* Manage appointments, schedules and time by effective planning of calls, travel and meetings
* Maintain and update customer records through the Sales software system and follow up on customer quotations
* Maintain knowledge of the Company's product range to confidently deal with engineers
* Ensure all administration is kept up-to-date
* Promotion of various technical/engineering products to industrial end users
* Work jointly with the Internal Sales team to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered
* Attend exhibitions throughout the year as required to promote the company


The Candidate:
Previous field sales experience within the engineering/technical sector is essential. The successful technical sales representative/account manager must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of hitting targets, have strong relationship building skills and be able to prepare basic Technical drawings for customers. As this role will cover a designated territory a willingness to travel is essential as some overnight stays may be required. A full, valid UK driving licence is required for this role.
