Job Title: Human Resources Manager (HR)
Location: Bury
Salary: £35-40K, plus car allowance

The Role:
As the HR Manager you will be provide a total HR service to the Distribution Centre covering all aspects such as recruitment, employee engagement, career development, remuneration, training, industrial relations, CSR and HR developments. Based in Bury, the main duties will include:

* Managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with UK Employment Law
* Managing HR development processes from performance appraisal through to Training & Development
* Recruitment of talented individuals to target zero vacancies, diversity and a pipeline of future talent
* Managing induction for new starters ensuring smooth integration into the company
* Managing compensation and benefits for the DC
* Driving and supporting the annual wage negotiations with the union
* Ensuring maintenance of HR reporting systems and KPI's
* Full generalist HR duties including succession planning, absence management and talent management

The Candidate:
Previous HR Manager experience within a fast paced, FMCG, unionised environment is essential. The successful Human Resources Manager must be able to demonstrate solid employee relations knowledge and have had exposure to talent management. CIPD qualified, or equivalent is required. The ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of UK employment law, expertise in recruitment techniques and the ability to coach and develop individuals is needed. Flexibility to travel to other sites is a pre-requisite. This is a HR Manager role with the long-term plan for this to move into a HR Director role.
