Job Summary

Our client is a leader in the field of multi-disciplinary construction services company focusing on building sustainability and compliance who have an urgent requirement to hire an National Accounts & New Business Manager. The role is paying £18500 -£22500 DOE and will be based in Castleford. This role requires proven experience within a technical sales environment. Experience or knowledge of 'Existing building compliance' regulations would be warmly recieved.


Job Description

Our client is a leader in the field of multi-disciplinary construction services company focusing on building sustainability and compliance who have an urgent requirement to hire an National Accounts & New Business Manager. The role is paying £18500 -£22500 DOE and will be based in Castleford. This role requires proven experience within a technical sales environment. Experience or knowledge of 'Existing building compliance' regulations would be warmly recieved.

The main purpose of this role is to deliver to the business a monthly Sales Revenue Target through a mixture of exceptional Account Management (25%) and Outbound Business Development (75%) via provided data, generating new business and exploring new business verticals.

Main duties will involve:

*Make a minimum 60 telephone calls per day, 40 calls per day to new business customers
*Account Management of a small number of high value accounts, maximising sales opportunities and developing relationships
*Make Appointments for Directors & Senior Technical Managers
*Attend face to face meetings from time to time
*Exceptional organisation and housekeeping of sales pipeline & CRM
*Sell the full range of Technology Property Management Services, managing time appropriately
*Work closely with the Estimating & Operations Department
*Accurately recording the outcome of calls on internal databases, managing all leads to a final satisfactory outcome
*Call existing clients to follow up on quotations to the point of sale


Education/Qualifications
*A degree or degree equivalent qualification would be an advantage
*5 GCSE's A-C including a minimum Grade C in both English & Maths
*Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft Office products

*Exceptional telephone manor
*Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written
*Ability to confidently articulate services to highly qualified professionals & company director level clients
*Understand technical process's, relevant building regulations & law
*To be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and pro-active
*Autonomous but also team player
*Show initiative on a daily basis being highly results orientated, enthusiastic with good organisational skills
*Be reliable, cheerful and of friendly disposition, someone who wants to work as part of a close sales team to achieve strict targets
