Job Summary

Bluefire Consulting are looking for an experienced Telesales Consultant for a role based in Castleford paying £16500k plus OTE. In the role you are required to do 60 outbound telephone calls per day to existing customers in a B2B environment. You will also be responsible for managing key customer accounts. We require candidates with previous telesales experience or sales office experience. Id be happy to speak to anyone from a Business Development, Outbound B2B Consultative telesales roles.

Telesales Consultant
Based in Castleford
Paying £16500

The Role
The Telesales Consultant will be expected to deliver to the business a monthly sales revenue target through the predominantly outbound calling of multiple source enquiries, a national construction database & good account management. The role involves the selling of 'multi' technical products & contracting services to new and existing clients, principally within the UK Construction / property industry. A key aspect of the role involves building on existing relationships and creating new relationships with key stakeholders on typically multi million pound projects. At the heart of the role is always promoting, constantly looking to maximise all selling opportunities.

Key Tasks
The Telesales Consultant will;
*Make a minimum 60 outbound telephone calls per day
*Generate new business though an internet prospect database split on a regional basis, additionally selling to existing clients using in house databases
*Call existing clients to follow up on quotations to the point of sale
*Exceptional organisation and housekeeping of sales pipeline & Stroma CRM
*Sell the full range of Technology & Contracting services
*Account Management of a small number of high value accounts, maximising sales opportunities and developing relationships
*Work closely with the estimating department, accurately recording the outcome of calls on internal databases, managing all leads to a final satisfactory outcome
*Arrange appointments for MD and Business Development Managers to both existing and new clients to promote services

The Candidate
The ideal Telesales Consultant will have;
*Exceptional telephone manor
*Clear, confident communication skills, both verbal and written
*Ability to confidently articulate services to highly qualified professionals & company director level clients
*To be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and pro-active
*Autonomous but also team player
*Show initiative on a daily basis being highly results orientated, enthusiastic with good organisational skills
*Be reliable, cheerful and of friendly disposition, someone who wants to work as part of a close sales team to achieve strict targets

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required
*Minimum 24 months experience of working in a sales office environment
*Minimum 12 months experience with proven results working in any of the below sales roles:
Business Development, Outbound B2B Consultative Telesales, Technical sales, Account Management or Sales Coordination roles
*A degree or degree equivalent qualification would be an advantage but not essential
*5 GCSE's A-C including a minimum Grade C in both English & Maths
*Previous experience working in the construction industry or selling to the construction would be a significant advantage
*Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft Office products
*Previous experience of selling via the telephone
