The Role

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit for an experienced Internal Business Development Manager to assist in promoting seminars to local authorities in the North West and North Wales area, for an established Independent Financial Services firm. Based out of the Pulford, Chester office, reporting into the Managing Director, the main duties of the role include:
*Researching and identifying potential business clients within the North West area
*Making initial contact and identifying key decision makers within the business
*Maintaining proactive telephone contact and keeping an accurate record of contact
*Building relationships with key decision makers and appointment making
*Working towards annual sales targets and managing own workload in order to meet these
*Accompanying the Managing Director in client visits on a weekly basis and assisting in preparations
*Providing adhoc support to the Managing Director regarding sales activity


The Candidate

The successful Internal Business Development Manager will be a confident cold caller with a proven track record in business to business sales. You must be extremely self -motivated and competent in the use of Microsoft packages. The ideal Internal Business Development Manager will be looking to carve a career within business development and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the financial sector.
