We're on the lookout for our new Operations Coordinator to act as the hub for all functions of our University. We've just promoted our last Operations Coordinator so we're looking for someone to fill her shows - no mean feat but we think you're up to the task!

The Role
As our new Operations Coordinator you'll be providing administration support to the Operations team and coordinating external events and schedules for the University.
This is a really varied and fast paced role so you'll need to enjoy a challenge and thrive working in a dynamic, bustling environment.

Alongside the scheduling of the University's facilities for conferences, events and meetings the Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring the staff and contacts database, updating records and coordinating communications. You'll also support the Finance Manager and manage the office supplies and supplier contracts.

The Operations Coordinator role is involved in every aspect of running the University so a lot of your duties will be flexible and you'll be in contacts with over 250 students, staff and external companies.

The Candidate
If you're organised, have great communication skills and enjoy working within the education sector we'd like to hear from you!

The Operations Coordinator role is really fast paced however as you'll be the first point of contact for clients and external organisations you will need to have brilliant verbal and written communication skills and prioritise excellent customer service.
A relevant degree (or equivalent) would be seen as a big advantage for the Operations Coordinator role and you will need to have experience scheduling diaries using MS Outlook.

Owing to the nature of the Operations Coordinator position you will need excellent attention to detail and, to make sure you enjoy coming to work, an interest in higher education would be helpful.
