We're a well-established university looking for a team of Receptionists to create a great first impression to anyone that comes through our doors. We provide a great place to work and study and are looking for people to reflect that on site.

The Role
In your new Receptionist role you'll be our ambassador for everyone coming into the university. We pride ourselves on our friendly and efficient atmosphere and you'll be key to getting this across.

Alongside general front of house duties meeting and greeting visitors, directing phone calls and managing post you'll be an integral part of our operations team helping to coordinate room bookings, equipment and supplies. We host a lot of events and conferences in addition to all the student we take in so part of the Receptionist role will involve helping prepare and run these including providing admin support and assisting with travel arrangements.

As our new Receptionist you'll also contribute towards the security of the site; opening and locking up, monitoring our CCTV feeds and conducting regular patrols around the building, reporting any building issues to the Facilities Manager. This is to make sure we provide a safe and pleasant environment for our students, staff and visitors.

Typical working hours are Monday - Friday; 3:00pm - 9:30pm.

The Candidate
If you're a friendly person with Reception, Facilities Assistant or Front of House experience we'd love to hear from you.

Given the fact that we're a university a background working in a similar education environment would be an advantage but we're keen to consider anyone with a great attitude plus strong customer service, communication and time management skills.

As our new Receptionist you will need to know your way around a computer, have a good telephone manner and be professional at all times.

£13k - £14k basic salary
