Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work for a well established Pharmaceutical and Chemical organisation based in County Durham. Main duties will involve:
* Managing the technical aspects and working closely with the Product personnel in line with Medical Device Directives
* Investigate Quality problems associated with the production department and implement corrective measures
* Perform validations as required
* Maintain and control calibration records for all test and inspection equipment
* Identify and implement continuous improvements in conjunction with the operations team
* Liaise with vendors and customers on quality related issues
* Support internal, customer and regulatory audits

Previous experience within a Quality Engineer role is essential, preferably with experience in Medical Device Directives. The successful Quality Engineer must be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and be able to communicate well at all levels. This role is initially based on a 2 year contract.
