Job Title: Business Development Manager; Field Sales
Location: Derbyshire (covering UK wide)
Salary: £30-35k basic salary + company vehicle + uncapped commission

The Role

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a competent Business Development Manager to develop new business relationships and achieve individual and company targets and goals. Reporting into their established site in Derbyshire, but covering a Nationwide territory, the main duties of the role include:

* Identifying potential new customers: through self-generated research and working in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams, cold calling and attending networking events and functions
* Making initial contact and identifying key decision makers within the business
* Planning, preparation and management of your own diary and appointments
* Account Management: including presenting new products and services, dealing with problems and queries and enhance existing customer relationships
* Working towards annual sales targets and managing own workload in order to meet these
* Preparing and completion of presentations, pitches and tenders
* Identifying opportunities for campaigns, products and services and work alongside colleagues to bring these to market
* Providing competitor feedback
* Maintaining awareness of competitor feedback and monitor own conversion rates


The Candidate

The successful Business Development Manager must have a proven sales background in developing new business relationships and demonstrate a technical understanding. The ideal Business Development Manager will be able to deal with people eat all levels and demonstrate their ability to generate their own leads.
