The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an energetic, enthusiastic Expedition Coordinator; Sales Executive to develop relationships with schools in the Durham area to promote and assist in leading ethical expeditions and volunteering trips around the globe. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager duties for this highly sociable, fast paced role will include:
*Researching new schools and educational establishments to develop relationships with
*Contacting teachers within these schools to promote the opportunity
*Conducting sales presentations across the Durham area to teachers, students and their parents
*Arranging fundraising meetings for the students
*Managing existing accounts with schools and keeping in contact to ensure repeat business

This is a really exciting opportunity which combines sales and a passion for travel with education and ethical tourism however the role will involve a significant amount of travel around Durham and evening work. Must be flexible to travel internationally.

The Candidate
As a successful Expedition Coordinator; Sales Executive you must be enthusiastic, confident and friendly with a passion for travel and excellent communication skills. You should have a background in either B2B or B2C field sales with a great track record of hitting targets and being motivated to go that extra mile. You will be dealing with clients over the phone, conducting one to one meetings and large group presentations so confidence and the ability to relate to a wide demographic are key.

Owing to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is essential.
