Job Summary

Position: Team Co-Ordinators Location: Ellesmere Port, Wirral Package: £27-29,000 plus benefits This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for project support and administration professionals to provide pro-active support to the department, co-ordinating activities and dealing with queries and issues in a professional manner. It is assumed you have in depth Microsoft Excel skills and prior experience of working in a similar support position.


Job Description

Position: Team Co-Ordinators
Location: Ellesmere Port, Wirral
Package: £27-29,000 plus benefits

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for graduate calibre support and administration professionals with in depth Microsoft Excel experience, to provide pro-active support to senior managers within this national energy engineering company.

We are looking for people to work in support roles in three different departments so any specific sector experience in the following would be a bonus:

1.) Operations
2.) Business Management
3.) Health, Safety, Environment or Quality


Duties & Accountabilities:-

Team Support & Administration:
*Pro-actively support the effective day to day running of the department, organise department activities, monitor actions and proactively chase as required to ensure timely completion
*Act as point of contact for departmental queries, ensuring that queries and problems are resolved in an effective and professional manner
*Provide support to the team and Head of Department with department activities and projects as required
*Support the preparation and review of documentation, including company instructions, briefing materials, communications and reports
*Provide a pro-active administration and secretarial support to the department, including organisation of meetings and events, diary management, prepare meeting packs and reports, take minutes, maintain records and book travel and accommodation

Data Analysis & Reporting:
*Intelligent analysis of data, identifying trends and issues and pro-actively resolving problems
*Collate and compile data and prepare reports
*Maintain and report on departmental performance metrics
*Maintain databases and information systems

Ad-hoc Projects:
*Carry out specific projects and research
*Provide technical input in to department activities as required
*Deliver basic advice on departmental issues, with reference upwards as appropriate
*The successful candidate will rotate around different departments to gain a breadth of experience across the business and to support your ongoing development

Required experience:

*A degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject OR relevant experience of a similar role within Operations; Health, Safety, Environment or Quality; or Business/Finance
*Detailed Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel
*A proactive, self-motivated, delivery focused approach with the ability to work on own initiative
*A customer focused attitude with the ability to understand and respond to customer requirements
*Excellent Communication skills with a confident approach to dealing with stakeholders at all levels
*A positive and flexible attitude
*Ability to manipulate, intelligently analyse and interpret data
*The ability to read and interpret commercial contracts and/or technical documentation
*Excellent administration and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
*The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to develop and progress within the organisation
