Job Summary

Our client is an established Children's Education and Development provider who are looking for a Business Operations Manager to oversee exciting new development plans across a portfolio of branches Nationwide. The position offers a competitive starting Salary of £42,000 with a company car plus bonus.


Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role will be to deliver budgeted profit and occupancy across approximately 10 UK branches and to ensure the motivation and support of each corresponding Branch Manager. These 10 branches wil be allocated depending on your location in the UK. Other responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to the following:

* Line Management of Branch Managers
* Development of a Senior Management team
* Recruitment, training and deployment of staff
* Understanding of Health and Safety legislation
* Ensuring quality standards are met
* Effective communication with Key Stakeholders
* Budget Setting and debt and cost management
* The chairing of monthly Business Review meetings and bi-monthly trading meetings
* Complete profit and loss responsibility

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Multi-site operations preferably at
Regional or Area Manager level within a retail or large scale supermarket chain such as Tesco, Lidl or Sainsburys. Ideally you will have a relevant management qualification or be educated to degree level. You should also have experience of coaching and mentoring individuals with proven success in leading and supporting staff teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative to the success of this role, along with the ability to use Microsoft Applications. You must have proven numeracy skills and a strong financial knowledge, particularly in regards to holding full profit and loss responsibility. This is a field based role in which you will be required to attend visits to various branches four days a week therefore a valid driving licence will be required.
