Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for a Branch Manager for a well established client that supply building materials to the Construction Industry based in Essex. Main duties will include:

* Ensuring the Branch achieves sales targets
* Establishing an annual budget and branch business plan
* Leading and motivating staff within the Branch
* Recruiting and retaining staff
* Developing staff and providing staff with tools to meet their objectives
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
* Managing stock levels
* Monitoring competitor activity
* Managing external sales staff
* Ensuring Branch Health and safety standards are met

The successful Branch Manager must have experience of managing budgets and directly managing teams within the distribution/construction industry. Ideally applicants will have worked in a Trade/Merchants environment and be confident dealing with customers and suppliers. Candidates must be able to demonstrate relevant stock control experience and have strong attention to
