Location: Derby
Salary: £18-20k
12 month fixed-term contract; Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm


The Role:
As the Customer Account Manager you will join a small well-established sales team and yard staff to be responsible for providing support to the Yard Supervisor with yard and production management. Based in Foston, Derby main duties will include:

* Providing telephone support for the office and ordering stock as required
* Comprehensive maintenance of CRM programme including unit descriptions, updates, drawings and photographs of stock
* Purchase orders, order progression and verification as well as purchase invoice verifications
* Supplier management and relationships and competitive purchasing
* Ordering transport/labour/logistics/subcontractors as needed
* Space planning and forecasting on spending required for future orders
* Project coordination in the yard and providing office administration support

The Candidate:
Previous administration experience essential, preferably within the production/logistics field. The successful Customer Account Manager must be able to demonstrate a professional telephone manner, strong communication skills and a willingness to work in the yard to measure incoming stock. Computer literacy, including the use of Word, Excel and databases will be needed. Own transport is required due to location.
