The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an enthusiastic Area Sales; Business Account Manager for a nationwide FMCG company to increase channel sales and maintain excellent customer relationships across the Greater Manchester area. This role will see a successful applicant dealing directly with key decision makers within hotels, restaurants, cafes and pubs to take direct responsibility for implementing a sales strategy to increase revenue across their territory and managing customer accounts.
Main duties will include:
*Identifying new business opportunities and evaluating potential viability
*Maximising commercial potential of both existing and new accounts and providing advice and recommendations on product range
*Monitoring a client database to ensure all customer relationship management techniques are being utilised to the full
*Achieving profit targets for the account base by the designated channel
*Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to prepare and instigate designated client channel plans
*Managing customer credit and debt terms in line with company policy

The Candidate
You must be able to demonstrate experience in the field of account management and a background in new business development with multiple accounts, within the FMCG/Beverage/Wine sector. A WSET qualification (or equivalent) would be viewed as highly desirable and you must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

My client is a well-established FMCG distributor which services the hospitality sector throughout the UK. They pride themselves on providing a total sales provision to these businesses and as an Area Sales Manager you will be given training on how to maximise their sales through specialist knowledge, marketing and additional services in order to increase your area turnover.
