Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex (Nationwide territory)
Salary: £40-£75k DOE plus car allowance or car and bonus

The Role:

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a competent Business Development Manager to develop new business relationships and achieve individual and company targets and goals. This role will involve managing business development activities for the company, driving sales and developing Sales & Marketing strategy. Reporting into their established site in Haywards Heath, but covering a Nationwide territory, the main duties of the role include:

* Identifying potential new customers: through self-generated research
* Making initial contact and identifying key decision makers within the business and following up new business opportunities by setting up meetings
* Planning, preparation and management of your own diary and preparing presentations
* Developing Sales & Marketing strategy and set a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure its in line with company's strategic direction
* Working towards annual sales targets and managing own workload in order to meet these
* Developing long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets
* Competitor analysis/monitoring and writing reports
* Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
* Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers


The Candidate

The successful Business Development Manager must have a proven sales background in developing new business relationships with experience of selling technology, specifically cloud, hosted and managed services. The ideal Business Development Manager will be able to deal with people eat all levels and demonstrate their ability to generate their own leads. Working knowledge of the support market and insights related to cloud computing and IT is required.
