Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £23-£26k

The Role:
As the Customer Services Manager/Head of Customer Service you will manage the customer service department and ensure customer issues are resolved and relationships are maintained. Based in Hemel Hempstead the main duties will include:

* Providing direct line management to the Customer Service team
* Managing the response to high volumes of communication and deal efficiently with customer enquiries, comments or complaints via phone, post or email
* Providing reporting on Customer Service levels/statistics as required
* Implementing new systems, procedures and working practices within the department to improve customer service efficiency as needed
* Developing and communicate key performance indicators
* Recommending training to minimise customer issues
* Liaising with Regional Teams to drive Customer Service improvement
* Encouraging operational management to proactively manage customer complaints to an acceptable level in line with industry standards

The Candidate:
Previous Customer Service management experience is essential. The successful Customer Services Manager/Head of Customer Service must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels, manage multiple issues at any one time and have excellent influencing skills. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role as some travel will be required.
