Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a business directory who operate on a National basis to cover the Hertfordshire/London/M25 region and surrounding areas. Main duties will involve:
*Building new business from generating own appointments
*Achieving targets and developing leads from self identified leads
*Sourcing and closing new business opportunities
*Gaining a quick understanding of our customers and their business needs
*Managing and developing an existing portfolio of accounts
*Attending appointments and promoting services
*Managing own diary to conduct 16 appointments per week

Previous new business development experience within the B2B sector is essential. The successful Business Development Manager must be able to demonstrate a proven sales background with strong appointment making skills from cold calls. The ability to work autonomously is a pre-requisite.
