Job Title: Technical Sales Rep; Business Development Manager (Construction)
Location: East Anglia area; covering Ipswich, Norwich and Colchester
Salary: £25-28k DOE plus car, fuel card, uncapped bonus and benefits

The Role:
As the Technical Sales Rep/Business Development Manager you will actively promote all products and services to both new and existing customers for a well-renowned excavation support and specialist plant hire company. Covering Ipswich, Norwich, Colchester and surrounding areas within East Anglia, the main duties will include:
· Deliver within the assigned territory profitable growth, through development of orders from new and existing accounts
· Manage appointments, schedules and time by effective planning of calls, travel and meetings
· Identify and personally manage key projects and customers within your territory to ensure all agreed customer service levels and standards are maintained
· Maintain knowledge of the Company's product range, including accessories and safety equipment
· Ensure all administration is kept up-to-date including inputting information into the CRM system and monthly KPI reports
· General assistance in the regional depot if required and attend meetings and training as needed
· Proactively work jointly with all departments and colleagues across the range of functions to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered
· Supply equipment and temporary works services to construction companies within your assigned territory


The Candidate:
Previous sales experience within the plant/construction/groundworks sector is essential. The successful sales representative/account manager must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of hitting targets, have strong technical skills and ability to manage numerous accounts. As this role will cover a designated territory a willingness to travel is essential. A full, valid UK driving licence is required for this role.
