Bluefire Consulting are looking for a Logistics Coordinator; Administrator to schedule the transportation of products throughout the UK and internationally for a well-established, highly successful logistics company based in Leyland.
Working as part of a close-knit, friendly team this role is a great opportunity to develop a career in logistics and operations within a stable, fast-paced environment.

The Role
As the Logistics Coordinator; Administrator you will report into the Logistics Manager and your main duties will be as follows:
*arranging transport of products throughout the UK and internationally
*monitoring deliveries to ensure deadlines are met
*maintaining relationships with couriers
*liaising between the customers, couriers, sales team and warehouse staff
*processing sales and supplier orders
*ensuring production schedules remain on time to coordinate with deliveries

Working hours:Monday - Friday; 10:30am - 7:00pm

The Candidate
To make a great Logistics Coordinator; Administrator you will have strong literacy and numeracy skills and be confident communicating with a wide variety of people. Any background working within a logistics, warehouse or manufacturing administration role would be seen as an advantage and export experience would be highly prized.

The work itself is very fast-paced so you must enjoy a dynamic environment and be comfortable multi-tasking numerous roles duties dependent upon the needs of the client and supplier.
