Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Cargo Claims Administrator to process marine cargo claims within the shipping sector. Based in Liverpool, main duties will involve:
* Acknowledging customer correspondence received
* Providing advice and information on cargo claims
* Entering claims information and maintain an effective filing system
* Ensuring all requested documentation is obtained and chased to progress the claim
* Actioning internal requests for documentation when required
* Liaise with third parties to organise cargo surveys where necessary

Previous experience within administration and claims within shipping is ideal. Knowledge of marine cargo claims and the shipping process is preferable. The successful Cargo Claims Administrator must be able to demonstrate strong customer service and administration skills with the ability to work under pressure. A shipping or business related degree, or equivalent, would be preferable but is not essential.
