Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join a busy import department based in Liverpool. Main duties will involve:

* Entering bookings and jobs onto the database and ensuring costs are correct
* Checking customs documentation and offering advice to clients
* Arranging transfer of containers from port to warehouses
* Liaising with the warehouse for arrival of containers
* Producing and supplying all relevant documentation for logistics department
* Dealing with clients on an ongoing basis and keeping them updated with status reports
* Calculating customs charges as needed
* Raising invoices for payment
Previous administration experience is essential for this role, preferably within a logistics/shipping background. The successful Import Administrator must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and good organisational skills. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Own transport is required due to location.
