Job Title: Intelligence Analyst; Investigations Officer
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Rate: £12-£14 per hr

The Role:
As the Intelligence Analyst/Investigations Officer you will be carrying out strategic and operational intelligence work to identify and investigate apparent misconduct and mismanagement within third party organisations. Based in Liverpool, the main duties will include:

* Contributing to investigations in preventing and detecting misconduct by providing intelligence analysis and researching regulatory concerns
* Support the investigations unit by providing intelligence gained using analytical techniques and providing intelligence reports
* Provide support to Investigations Officers on casework through provision of intelligence reports gained from research and analysis
* Record intelligence and disclosure information on relevant databases and maintain effective management information
* Manage relationships with internal and external outside agencies on cases
* Evaluate relevant information and select the best conclusion from a range of options
* Using analytical software (i2) to product intelligence reports

The Candidate:
Previous Intelligence Analytical experience is essential, with working knowledge of i2 analytical software. The successful Intelligence Analyst/Investigations Officer must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and judgement skills and practical knowledge of the National Intelligence Model. Experience of compiling intelligence information and having the ability to make a judgement for the best conclusion is required. The successful candidate will be subject to security vetting at (SC) clearance level so a CRB check must be completed.

This is a temporary contract, with a view to start on 3rd January 2013.
