Job Summary

PA/Administrator required to assist the Managing Director in the day to day running of the business and to aid in the on going expansion of the company. Working at our Liverpool head office, this role will suit a highly organised, commercially aware and ambitious individual who is capable of ensuring that business critical administration is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.

Job Description

Duties will include; client, customer and supplier communication at all levels, answering and directing phone calls to the relevant departments, compiling daily statistics, ensuring databases are kept up to date, formatting candidate CVs, amending legal documents, conducting credit checks, payroll, marketing, diary and travel management, and supporting all the main administrative needs of the managing director.

You will also be working closely with the Managing Director and will assist with aspects of internet marketing, PR/social media campaigns and communications, research projects and liaison with 3rd party/external service providers.

The Candidate

This is a role for an ambitious, pro-active, energetic, commercially aware and dynamic individual who relishes the challenge of developing their skills and knowledge to become an indispensable member of our company. You will have a warm and friendly personality and will be reliable and punctual.

Preferably educated to degree level (or equivalent) in either a business, finance, IT or marketing related subject, you will have a strong overall academic track record and IT proficiency. You will need to be well presented, highly organised, detail orientated and possess excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Due to the corporate nature of the roles that we recruit for an excellent telephone manner, good time management, professional attitude and commercial awareness are all extremely important, as is an aptitude for quick learning in a fast paced exciting environment.

Prior experience to working within the recruitment industry is not essential but previous career experience either as a PA, working within finance or in marketing is highly desirable, although candidates at all levels including recent graduates are encouraged to apply as more important is the desire to join a company where you will be involved in the development and future growth of the business. Therefore regardless of your background, you will be the type of person who wants to use your initiative, will be comfortable challenging the status quo and will relish developing new systems and also new ways of working to increase the efficiency of both the Managing Director and of the business overall.

The Package

Starting basic salary is completely negotiable and dependent on experience but is expected to be between £20,000 to £25,000 pa.

In addition to your basic salary we offer company profit share, Christmas bonus, 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and also your birthday off as an additional paid holiday! You will also be provided with an iPad.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 6:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch.

Please note due to maternity leave we have an opportunity for an immediate start! Permanent or Temporary Contract available to suit.
