Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive/Field Sales/Area Sales Rep to work for a well established Furniture and Giftware company covering London and the South West. Main duties will involve:

*Delivering presentations of products at customer sites and at conferences and exhibitions
*Attending trade exhibitions in a Sales Executive capacity
*Pro-actively seeking to increase sales from existing customers
*Maintaining company's contact management database with accurate, up-to-date contact and activity details
*Providing regular and comprehensive feedback from potential customers to enhance product performance and service delivery
*Maintaining timely and productive contact with existing customers
*Identifying potential business opportunities and devise a development plan to bring that business to fruition
*Maintaining and managing contact with existing and potential customers in order to promote sales and deliver detailed account plans and prioritise customer relations
*Responsible for own continuous personal development including keeping up to date with new and existing products
*Preparing for monthly onsite performance reviews
*Attending and positively participating in Sales meetings as required
*Positively utilising all resources including Sales department, Transport Department and the Purchasing department for cost effective Sales delivery
*Identifying opportunities for new products to enhance existing product ranges
*Monitoring and reporting on the activity of competitors and potential collaborators to identify business opportunities and risks
*Understanding Company target market and how products and services successfully fit in that Market
*Identifying new markets, both geographical and by industry sector, for company products
*Ensuring that the company has an in depth understanding of the users of company products and their on-going needs
*Expected to effectively and productive manage contract hours


Previous Field Sales experience within a B2B environment is required. The successful Sales Executive must be able to demonstrate a passion and genuine interest for Furniture, Interior Design, Furniture and Giftware products. Experience dealing with large retailers and smaller independents is essential for this role. A full UK driving license is a prerequisite for this position.
