Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (London)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

The Role:
As the Supply Chain Manager you will join a small manufacturing company that provides a key service to all organisations with specialist lighting solutions. This is a newly created key role within the business to manage the whole supply chain to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Based in Central London, the main duties will include:

· Reporting to the Managing Director and take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of all production scheduling, supply chain and sales forecasts
· Managing relationships with supply chain partners and manage costs within the supply chain to meet the needs and service levels of the customer
· Managing all elements of supply chain costs including ocean freight, handling, storage and costs of distribution
· Driving and monitoring performance to ensure material purchasing, stock levels and sales forecasts are aligned
· Managing the budget for supply chain activities and report progress against budgets
· Apply a continuous improvement approach to quality objectives and investigate any Quality Assurance issues and oversee third party audits
· Working with the Managing Director and wider teams at other locations to monitor cost of sales for new products/product development and gain efficiencies via KPI monitoring


The Candidate:
Previous experience within a Supply Chain management role with experience of managing and developing contract manufacturers is essential. A strong track record in the lighting, electronics or related technical industry are required. The successful Supply Chain Manager must have experience of managing budgets, cost control, ERP knowledge and meeting multiple deadlines. A background within supply chain manufacturing, including general operations is needed. As this role will involve constant liaison with supply chain partners some travel will be required to manage these day-to-day relationships.
