Salary:£40k - £45k (dependent upon experience) plus company car and bonus

The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an Area Manager to oversee customer service, employees, brand and profitability across multiple sites within Kent and Sussex for a renowned funeral provider. Reporting into the senior management team main duties of the role will include:
*delivering an excellent customer service ethos across the area
*conducting discreet customer surveys and actioning points raised
*managing the Senior Funeral Directors
*ensuring staff are well trained and carrying out duties in line with best practice
*developing an annual business plan aimed at increasing market share year on year
*driving profitability throughout the area
*managing an operational budget effectively
*presenting management reports to senior members of the company

The Candidate
As a successful Area Manager candidate you must have experience managing a multi-site operation ideally within a clinical/medical/care environment. Excellent communication, literacy, numeracy and staff development skills are essential and as the role is a standalone position you must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage your area autonomously.

Owing to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is required.

The Client
Our client are a well-established funeral company who own over 20 funeral homes throughout the Kent and Sussex area. Determined to set and maintain the highest possible standards for customer service and care they place a lot of emphasis on staff training and development. Anybody joining the organisation must share this enthusiasm and be willing to take a hands-on management approach to understand all aspects of the business.

The Package
£40k - £45k basic salary (dependent upon experience) plus company car and mileage.
A performance related bonus is offered every year.
33 days holidays (inclusive of bank holidays).
