Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a head of hospitality for our client working from their head office in Manchester. The role offers an excellent salary package which is negotiable plus medical insurance, pension and performance related bonus.

The key purpose of the role will be providing world class hospitality by leading teams across the portfolio to deliver excellent customer facing services with a clear focus on continuous improvement, value for money, and performance achievement.

Key Responsibilities

1.To lead & develop operational priorities and plans for the Hospitality function, ensuring achievement of performance targets and improvement plans for all service areas with a focus on continuous improvement & financial control.
2.To lead & develop our approach to excellence in customer service including intelligence gathering and actively seeking customer feedback on service quality to inform & develop services further.
3.To lead the development of strategic priorities & plans for the Hospitality function with a focus on continuous performance improvement.
4.To determine & monitor standards of performance of all service areas taking appropriate action where required to respond to changing circumstances, performance shortfall & emerging demands.
5.Ensure customer feedback is actively sought by a variety of methods and that feedback received is acted upon and responded to.

6.To cultivate appropriate relationships with key external and internal partners & stakeholders, contributing to the assessment of new opportunities as required & seamlessly integrating new sites into the portfolio.

7.To keep up to date with changes in legislation; sector wide standards including ANUK and; competitor activity & regularly review service delivery & performance targets as a result.
8.Ensure that financial and all other resources across the Operations function are managed within agreed parameters, and to identify & implement opportunities to achieve greater efficiency ensuring that the income stream of the company is maximized.
9.Ensure appropriate Quality Assurance checks are undertaken across all service areas, including assessment of risk to service delivery & make recommendations to mitigate or improve where necessary.
10.To provide motivational leadership and support to team members ensuring clarity of direction, effective communication and development of individual potential through coaching, mentoring & performance appraisals.
11.As a line manager, to ensure that the organization's equality, diversity and inclusion policies are fully implemented at all times and in all aspects of service delivery and employment.
12.Behave in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and current Data Protection Policy

Required Experience
*Held a relevant post of similar responsibility in hospitality services
*Management level experience with budgetary development & management responsibility
*Track record in leading delivery of Hospitality & Customer Services
*Evidence of achieving excellence in delivery of services in a customer facing environment and commitment to continuous improvement;
*Evidence of developing and managing operational & strategic plans that enable successful achievement of the organization's business plans and objectives
*Proven experience of achieving challenging targets and objectives & of leading a team to deliver the same.

Skills
*Well-developed understanding of the dynamics of business and financial management within a complex organization.
*Creative & innovative approach to service improvement;
*IT Literate with thorough understanding of IT and how effective IT systems can support the efficiency of organizations;
*Up to date knowledge of legislative frameworks and key issues relevant to the post;
*Good understanding of Health and Safety issues.
