Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Manchester and surrounding areas
Salary:£45-£52k basic salary plus bonus and car/car allowance

The Role
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager for a nationwide FMCG company to lead a team of Sales Account Managers to increase channel sales within the North West region. Reporting directly into the Regional Managing Director the main duties of the role will include:
*Creating a business plan for your region and delivering objectives to the sales team
*Developing a personal development plan for each of the sales team that meets company standards, linking in with business objectives.
*Nurturing business relationships with key accounts and prospective business
*Implementing a strategy for successful business prospecting across the area
*Ensuring business standard including reporting requirements are upheld
*Liaising with key suppliers to ensure growth strategy and objectives are delivered
*Maintaining regular contact with operations teams to ensure business customer strategy is upheld.
*Communicating customer marketing strategy to the team and ensure it is implemented throughout the region.
*Managing customer credit terms and debt in line with company budget
*Performance management of the team and working in conjunction with HR to take appropriate action when necessary.


The Candidate
The successful Regional Sales Manager must be able to demonstrate experience in managing an external sales team, within the FMCG/Beverage/Wine sector. A WSET qualification (or equivalent) would be viewed as highly desirable and you must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

The Company
My client is a well-established FMCG distributor which services the hospitality sector throughout the UK. They pride themselves on providing a total sales provision to these businesses and as an Area Sales Manager you will be given training on how to maximise their sales through specialist knowledge, marketing and additional services in order to increase your area turnover.
