Salary:£32-£45k basic salary dependent on experience

The Role

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit Store Managers to join a well-established international food retailer as a result of store expansions and new openings in the surrounding Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire area. The main duties of the role include:
*Managing the day to day running of the store and its operational staff
*Coordinating staff rotas, arranging cover for staff sickness and annual leave
*Maximising sales where possible, monitoring seasonal trends and making use of promotional tools available
*Ensuring regular stock rotation in order to provide top quality produce
*Handling large amounts of cash making sure the safe is balanced
* Carrying out inventory checks on a regular basis
*Assisting senior management team with recruitment drives
*Implementing all health and safety procedures ensuring the wealth fare of staff and customers in store.

The Candidate

The ideal Store Manager must have previous Store Management background and will be experienced in managing medium/large teams, with the ability to lead, motivate and train others. You must possess strong communication and organisational skills. The successful Store Manager will have a strong commercial awareness and ideally have a background in the food retail sector. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and lead by example is essential.
