Job Summary

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a Contracts Co-Ordinator for a role based in Oldham paying between £23k to £27k. The Contracts Co-Ordinator will be responsible for assisting and enforcing the requirements of clients, as set out in the respective contracts. We are looking for someone with strong previous experience in a similar role dealing with technical clients in an engineering, telecoms or construction background and used to working in a fast paced environment.

Contracts Co-Ordinator
Based in Oldham
Paying between £23k to £27k

The Role
The Contracts Co-Ordinator will be responsible for assisting and enforcing the requirements of clients, as set out in the respective contracts. Actively representing the company in a positive light, ensuring the client knows the benefits of employing our client on their contracted works.

Specific Responsibilities
The Contracts Co-Ordinator will be responsible for

*Contracts Activities
*Undertaking actions as per individual Contract Action Plans (e.g. processing order, creating standard paperwork and job packs, getting prices for materials, liaising with suppliers
*Sending orders for items (ref: cost sheet and purchasing policy)
*Purchasing materials, plant and stock items (adhering to purchasing policy) and approving invoices related to these purchases.
*Creating purchase orders
*Safetrak- logging plant and stock movement as directed y Admin Manager
*Monitor of Tool Box Talks and site record sheets, to ensure they are returned regularly
*Data Management: Keeping job files current, with relevant site information (method statements, risk assessments, etc). Correct electronic filing of contractual emails
*Telephone liaison with clients and site personnel and logging of all calls.
*Attending and minuting of meetings.
*Producing employment packages for new recruits (site operatives) updating and maintaining this information
*Updating, maintain daily diary and maintain/ transfer to Contracts board
*Processing time sheets on a weekly basis in collaboration with Operations Manager
*Sending job cost reports to accounts on a weekly basis.
*Covering for contracts assistant and their duties when absent from work
*Book inductions.
*Arrange Drugs and Alcohol tests.
*Organising and arranging company medicals (as requested)
*Sub contractors- paperwork, checking yearly, keeping records
*Accident file/statistics/Near Misses- keeping records up to date and ensuring that actions from investigations are closed out

The Candidate
The ideal Contracts Co-Ordinator will have;
*Previous experience within a project/contracts co-coordinator position
*Previous experience managing client requests
*Strong Administrative skills
*Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Office
*Strong communication skills
*Excellent Customer Service skills
*The ability to work in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple requests
*Full Driving license to be able to visit clients on their site
*Live within a commutable distance of the office
*Previous experience working within a technical admin function, such as engineering, telecoms, construction
*Strong telephone skills

The Package
Paying between £23k to £27k plus pension and 28 days holidays (Including bank holidays) working 8-5 Monday to Friday
