Based in Oldham

The Role
The Stock Controller will perform a dual support function to both the Stores and Purchasing teams. Focusing on administrative tasks and raising orders including stock, transport and PPE services.

Responsibilities
The Stock Controller will be responsible for:

*Tracking of free issue inventory for specific projects and queries regarding reverse logistics (De-coms, Equipment recovery form)
*Maintain accuracy of track trans
*Update stock tracker
*Scan new deliveries
*Return kit if over agreed no of days
*Count and list consumables
*Pick additional kit for sites/arrange delivery
*Go to person for any queries regarding stock
*Monitoring and maintaining stock levels by routine visual shelf checking (ownership of stock replenishment process)
*Assist with annual stock counting activity and the roll out of perpetual inventory counting
*Assist with processing site returns - identification, sorting, put-away or return to supplier
*Assist with the quarantine and purging of obsolete, faulty or decommissioned stock items
*Conduct accuracy checks of picked deliveries (spot checks)
*Recording reported non-conformance
*Processing purchase orders from the stores function including PPE
*Supporting other purchasing activity during busy periods, holidays etc
*Tracking and order raising for consignment stock

The Candidate
The Stock Controller will have;

*Good IT skills - proficient in Excel and Outlook
*Experience in Purchasing or Stores background is desirable

The Company
The Stock Controller will work for a leading telecommunications infrastructure service provider.

Hours of Work
37.5hrs a week

The Package
Paying circa £17k depending on experience
