Job Description

Our client specialise in full service bespoke brand licensing and are subsidiary for a world leading motor sport company who have an urgent requirement to hire an Production Analyst to be based in Oxfordshire. The role is paying £22k to £24k. Previous experience in a similar role within merchandise would be an advantage¸ experience in clothing and accessories buying or retail buying role is desirable. Good all round general education & Excellent IT skills are required. You will need to be especially proficient in Excel.

Production analysts' responsibilities include analyzing systems, reviewing production/sales orders to ensure accuracy, completing weekly and monthly production activity/forecasting reports and resolving inventory imbalances. You would be required to study trends and develop systems for monitoring procedures and policies to improve all areas that affect productivity and profitability . The Production analyst would be required to prepare reports for upper management that detail improvements in the system or areas of weakness. You would also be required to work at times with the production coordinators at the time of costing out proposed product, to enable the co-ordinator to liaise with supplier. The Production Analyst would be required to work with the Production Manager/Production Co-ordinators and our appointed shipping agent to determine scheduling for the production and shipping quantities. The Production Analyst would be responsible for the overseeing of all assets held in countries of manufacture and deemed as trims and accessories.

You will need excellent attention to detail, clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal and an excellent telephone manner. We are looking for candidates who can display initiative and a friendly approachable character.

Key responsibilities:

*To streamline production CPA,s to new supply base
*To develop new systems for scheduling and reporting on production
*To identify weaknesses in current IFS system and implement production requirements into IFS upgrade
*To work closely in assessing product quantity requirement for markets with Production Manager
*Control of all budgets set by Production Manager and report on spend
*Oversee and research development of new factory costing with a view to itemising of all materials components used in production of product long term.
*To develop new reporting giving detailed information on stock and its status.
*Assisting in supporting the production team with costings.
*To work closely with Production Manager in developing tools for maximising profitability
*To focus and plan 4 months in advance how the production should be scheduled be achieved current/ back orders and new business planning
*Prepare for fortnightly meeting with Production Manager and Commercial Director to assess performance against targets
*Maintain best working practice at all times in line with the departments systems policy
