Job Title:Broadcast Administrator; Engineering Support Coordinator
Location:Preston, Lancashire
Salary:£20k - £25k basic

The Role
Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a Broadcast Administrator to provide full organisation and administrative support to the Engineering team. This role will see a successful applicant working within a fast paced environment to ensure broadcast workflows are fully delivered. Main duties will include:

* Schedule, confirm and book inbound and outbound circuits of Events for Broadcasters, Digital Media, Sports Associations and right holders around the world
* Arranging delivery of satellite downlinks, uplinks and local ends
* Liaison with technical teams, account managers, live channel schedulers, external clients and suppliers regarding confirmation of feed details
* Monitor schedules and report status of digital media and recording content
* Supporting engineering team with administrative duties including engineer rota, booking accommodation, hire car and travel arrangements
* Liaison with clients on a regular basis to confirm up-to-date line booking requirements, circuit data and onsite camera crew information
* Coordinate department purchasing process, including purchase orders, product ordering, invoicing and cost controls
* First point of contact for all enquiries relating to the Broadcast Engineering Team


The Candidate
A broadcast background is absolutely essential for this role with experience of providing full administrative and technical support within a live production environment. The successful Broadcast Administrator will have a sound understanding of broadcasting on and off site, excellent communication skills and must be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver to deadlines.
Due to location own transport is essential.
