Job Description
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to provide full generalist HR support for our client based in Sheffield within the care sector. This is a new role for the Sheffield site so will involve someone who is very strong on systems in order to set up all administration and HR information for staff. Key responsibilities will involve:
* Administration and monitoring of all staff information and HR information
* Processing all CRB checks, visa requirements and reference chasing
* Providing full advice and guidance to line manager and staff on all HR issues
* Manage staff records to ensure good employment practice is maintained
* Dealing with disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Manage and provide advice on all employment issues
* Review employment policies and advise HR Manager on any recommended changes
Previous HR experience and working knowledge of Employment Law is essential for this role. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of CRB processing, visa renewals and recruitment processes. A background within the care industry is preferred but not essential. Own transport is required as some travel to other sites will be needed.
