Bluefire Consulting are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Field Sales Representative to increase sales within existing accounts in the construction industry. This will be covering Southern England from Birmingham downwards and ideally the candidate will based in Slough or around the M4 corridor.


Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Field Sales Representative to increase sales within existing accounts in the construction industry. This will be covering Southern England from Birmingham downwards and ideally the candidate will based in Slough or around the M4 corridor. Main duties will involve:
* Generate new business from sites or regions within existing accounts
* Generate appointments and ensure these are qualified before attending
* Attending client visits and establish customer requirements
* Agree service level requirements for each sale
* Provide advice and guidance to end-users and ensure support is given on how to use the equipment correctly
* Assist with trials and roll-outs to new clients, sites or business areas
* Develop and maintain relationships with project/site managers and staff to promote the company and service to increase likelihood of repeat business
* Seek to identify potential new business within accounts through client contact
* Seek referral and recommendations from project/site managers and end users
* Liaise with Senior Account Manager on a daily basis to update on activity
* Update the CRM system to ensure records of all activity and contact is maintained
* Produce reports on activity, clients and prospects on a monthly basis

Previous Sales/Business Development experience of selling a service and dealing with people within the construction industry is essential for this role. The successful Business Development Manager/Field Sales person must be able to demonstrate strong presentation skills, excellent sales skills and strong self-management and organisational skills.
