Logistics Administrator

£26000 bonus, pension, private health, holidays

This role is Monday to friday 7.30am-16.30pm with a one hour lunch based in Slough.

What will you be doing?

You will play a key part in all the stages of logistics administration supported by an experienced team of logistics administrators. This is a varied role so you must enjoy getting stuck in with a range of different tasks. If you are looking for a bog standard admin position this won't be for you!!

You will be checking and processing orders, sending invoices and running excel reports using Vlookups and Pivot tables.

The machines and the parts come from Germany so you will need to speak with suppliers and customers and also customs. If you have experience with freight import documents this could be useful.
You will be working alongside the logistics manager to ensure all ISO 9001/14001 are also up to date. In all aspects of the role there are month end deadlines to consider so being organised and focused will be important.

Where you lack experience training and coaching will be provided, but candidates who have experience in any of the above areas above will be at an advantage.

Who are you?

You will need to be open, confident and friendly to fit in with the team. They are all a really good bunch of people and want to work with someone similar.
Excel skill area really important and although these can be taught and improved you will probably need to be at least an intermediate level user to be considered. The role calls for a high level of organisation, so anyone who likes to keep things neat and tidy will fit in well.
Working with Freight and customs experience would be an asset but isn't essential as this can be taught and this goes the same for knowledge of ISO 9001/14001.

Ideally you will have worked in administration previously but we are open to hear from people without this experience if you feel you have the personality and skills we are looking for. It is really important that you are looking for a long term job and not just a quick stop. Most people who work for the company have done so for a very long time.
