We are currently looking to recruit a technical administrator for our client who are a leading Telecommunications company from the Langley office in Slough. Offering between 20-25K, the role will have a choice of either 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm.


Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a technical administrator for our client who are a leading Telecommunications company from the Langley office in Slough. Offering between 20-25K, the role will have a choice of either 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm.
The role will require a strong administration/customer service background as well as having strong Microsoft Excel knowledge in order to be able to compile reports from the information. An operations background would be preferable, and will require a good eye to detail and experience dealing with both internal and external customers.

Role Purpose
Overall responsibility to ensure the delivery of assets onto our client's Video On Demand platform. Monitoring of required asset queues (both central and regional based) and management/reporting of assets. Prepare reports and perform analysis for proactive identification of external groups late deliveries of assets onto the platform.

Key Accountabilities
Asset Surveillance:

*Monitoring the content (assets), making sure these are uploaded onto the VOD platform with agreed time scales.
*Utilises management systems to tracking and communicate issues to internal and external groups of assets not meeting required time scales of delivery.

Asset Management:

*Ensures continual real time management of asset queues, escalation where required to internal or external groups to resolve problems and implements activities to prevent reoccurrence of late deliveries
*Documents incidents for the effective management information required for agencies and to drive continuous business improvement.
*Owns minor and complex asset incidents to from conception to resolution delivered within service levels

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills
*Experience in any role demonstrating a strong track-record of computer proficiency
*Must be detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with ability to prioritize tasks
*Must have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel
*Must have excellent problem solving skills and be able to offer multiple solutions to operational problems and challenges
*Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
*Training will be provided on an on the job basis except for the during the introduction of a new system
