Slough

This is a chance to join a really great team of Call Handlers working for an engineering company that has over one hundred years of being a leader in their industry. We are looking for someone with a really strong telephone manner, highly organised who would like to join a company and train to be a call handler.

Who are you?

You have spent at least a year working within an office or call centre environment and are ready to take the next step in your career. You are highly organised with a very strong telephone manner. You are both friendly and professional and looking for a long term opportunity. You have good admin skills and are competent on Microsoft products. You must be able to write professional emails and be comfortable speaking to a wide range of people.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for scheduling proactive maintenance and reactive breakdown visits for a number of skilled engineers. You will be responsible for around eight engineers and it's your job to make sure they know where they are going and what they need to do.
You will log down customer issues with machinery and assign the appropriate engineer to fix the problems. You will provide the highest levels of support to both the customer and to the engineer at all times.

What are the hours and salary?

You will work an eight and half hours a day with a one hour lunch, between 7.45-18.00pm.
There are three start and finish times 7.45am-16.15pm, 8.30am-17.00pm and 9.30am-18.00pm.
Your salary will be £24300 per annum. Every three weeks you will work one Saturday shift 13.00-17.00pm which is paid at 1.5 rate so £18.69 per hour which works out at £1300 a year. Combined salary £25600. There is also up to a £2000 bonus if you hit targets. Private health, holidays and additional OT is available.
