Salary: £35k - £40k pro rata
The Role
Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a HR Generalist to establish and oversee the HR function for a well-established manufacturing organisation located in Stockport. Reporting to the Director, the main duties of the role will include:
*Establishing an effective Human Resources department for the organisation
*Ensuring the company is up to date with all HR policies
*Managing the recruitment process from selection to interview stages
*Conducting regular employee development assessments to ensure staff retention and skill growth
*Taking the lead in all employee relations matters including performance management, appraisals, grievances and disciplinaries
*Liaising closely with other members of the senior management team to ensure HR policy is embedded within the organisation's culture
*Maintain commercial awareness ensuring that the company is up to date with all HR compliance
*Review Health and Safety policies and taking responsibility for the development and communication of written formal procedures

The Candidate
The successful HR Generalist must have an excellent working knowledge of all areas of UK employment law and Human Resources best practice and hold a CIPD qualification (or equivalent. Having held a similar HR Advisor/Manager/Generalist position previously you must be a confident, people-orientated leader with excellent relationships building skills who is keen to stamp your mark on a growing SME.
The Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the health sector with strong presence in the North West area who is looking to establish a HR department due to company growth. At present all HR services are outsourced but the organization is seeking to employ a HR Generalist to take charge of the function to increase company efficiency and the employee experience.
