Our client is a company operating in the telecommunications industry, based out of Warrington. We are looking to recruit a customer support manager, to work in this project support function. You will be looking to manage a number of project support locations across the UK, and will play a key part in interfacing with the main customers regarding the delivery of telecommunications projects.

Our client is a company operating in the telecommunications industry, based out of Warrington. We are looking to recruit a customer support manager, to work in this project support function.

You will be looking to manage a number of project support locations across the UK, and will play a key part in interfacing with the main customers regarding the delivery of telecommunications projects. A key aspect of this role will be to mentor and coach internal staff, along with putting processes in place to build a framework for more junior staff to follow.

The position would suit someone from a continuous improvement background and a key objective of the role is to take ownership of problems and workloads, reporting solutions rather than problems to senior management.

We have two options regarding the structure of the role, and would be happy to hear from short term contract consultants that could achieve roles within a short term period (3-5 months) before handing over to permanent staff. We would also be happy to speak with a candidate that would consider the role on a more long term basis, perhaps contract to permanent.

IT skills are assumed, so you should be strong with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Powerpoint.

You should also have worked in a project delivery environment and a formal project methodology background such as Prince 2 would be viewed as an advantage.

An element of flexibility would be required regarding meetings and travel at different sites.
