We are looking for someone with previous managerial experience ideally from a Telecoms background. You should also have worked in a project delivery environment and a formal project methodology background such as Prince 2 would be viewed as an advantage. Customer Support Manager- Telecoms
Paying £27196k to £31200k (£14-£16ph)
Based in Warrington

The Role
The Customer Support Manager will be reporting to the PMO Manager, this role is to provide leadership for the dispersed admin team, manage resource allocation to projects as directed and mentor and develop all team members in line with development plans. You will be looking to manage a number of project support locations across the UK, and will play a key part in interfacing with the main customers regarding the delivery of telecommunications projects. A key aspect of this role will be to mentor and coach internal staff, along with putting processes in place to build a framework for more junior staff to follow.

Key tasks of the job:
*Establish and maintain an efficient and effective resource plan for the admin team.
*Identify potential resource clashes at an early stage and propose options for managing any risks.
*Conduct regularly one to one and develop individual plans for each member of staff
*Oversee the recording of leave, sickness, absence, flexitime, personnel records and procedures
*Responsible to the PMO for complete resource allocation across all projects and working closely with functional managers to ensure technical competence is understood, managed and developed.
*Ensure all absences are managed effectively with no impact to delivery teams.
*Responsible for a proactive approach to functional/project managers, identifying requirements and management of delivery to these managers.
*Undertake specifically assigned tasks relating to the management and leadership of the admin team along with other activities as required.

The Candidate
The ideal Customer Support Manager- Telecoms, will have.
*Previous experience in manager role
*Previous experience in leading, coaching and developing people
*Solid understanding of Evenflow/Omnix/Isite
*Strong organisational skills, particularly the ability to prioritise work
*Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with Stakeholders
*Attention to detail
*Effective management of own time
*Strength in MS office and particularly adept in Excel
*Ability to construct arguments in order to display benefits delivered to/for the business
*You should also have worked in a project delivery environment and a formal project methodology background such as Prince 2 would be viewed as an advantage

The Package
Paying £27196k to £31200k (£14-£16ph) based on a 37.5hr week. This role will be on a long term rolling contract
