Job Description

Bluefire Consulting are recruiting an experienced Profit Centre Manager within the distribution industry for our client based in Warwickshire. Main duties will include:

* Identifying market opportunities
* Developing a business plan for the Profit Centre
* Promoting and marketing products and services to the customer base
* Managing, motivating and developing existing staff within the Centre
* Reviewing monthly financial reports
* Ensuring the Profit Centre meets health and safety standards
* Producing and presenting an annual forecast
* Maintaining and monitoring stock/inventory levels
* Working with the credit control team to maximise opportunities and minimise risk
* Maximising the asset utilisation of the of the business and establishing capital expenditure needs
* Liaising with staff in other centres across the UK

The successful Profit Centre Manager must have management experience within the Construction/Building industry. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage employees and must be able to communicate with people at all levels. The ability to negotiate with suppliers is essential, as is experience of financial reporting.
