Job Title: Buying Assistant; Account manager, Commercial Buyer
Location: Darlaston
Salary: £18-£25k

The Role:
As a Commercial Buyer you will be working closely with a Commercial Manager and experienced Buyer to take responsibility for purchasing and sales strategies throughout a busy recycling depot. Based in Darlaston, the main duties will include:

* Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Buyer to manage the day to day running of a busy regional depot
* Managing the relationships between external clients and providing quotations as needed
* Analysing sales and purchasing figures and producing management reports as needed
* Carrying out external market research to gain competitor research as required
* Ensuring all purchasing is monitored and in line with KPI's
* Create business strategies to maximise profitability of the depot
* Monitoring and recording sales figures, purchasing and purchase orders for the depot

The Candidate:
Previous experience within a Sales/Purchasing/Procurement role is required. The successful Commercial Buyer must be able to demonstrate the ability to produce management reports, negotiate pricing and have excellent communication skills. A hands-on approach to build relationships with clients is a must. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.
