Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a global leading Manufacturing company and specialising in Liquefied Natural Gas based in Wiltshire.

Main duties will involve:

*Direct responsibility to the Director General Manager for all aspects of selling the company's Hydrocarbon handling equipment specifically for Liquefied Natural Gas Ship to Ship/ Ship to Shore and bunkering applications.

*Developing business and track good prospects by building relevant strong relationships in the industry.

*Driving sales of the Liquefied Natural Gas, Ship to shore and Bunkering equipment in a global market.

*Identifying, developing and maximising sales opportunities

*Seeking out knowledge and trends within the industry and build awareness of competitor activity

*Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability

*Participating in and contributing to the preparation and submission of proposals/tenders in conjunction with colleagues.

*Providing Technical Support to both customers and work colleagues.

*Travelling globally as required to ensure opportunities are not missed, secure business and fulfil any other work requirements.

*Providing regular feedback/ reports to the Director General Manager and Managing Director on strategy/plans, opportunities, and performance.


Previous International Sales experience within a technical/engineering background is essential for this role. Previous Hydrocarbon experience ideally within the Liquefied Natural Gas- Ship to Ship/Bunkering industry is also essential for this role. The successful Business Development Manager must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, and have a proven Sales background with excellent prospect identification and tracking skills. A professional qualification within mechanical engineering or equivalent is desired but is not essential. The ability to attend regular meetings in Wiltshire and travel overseas to fulfill work commitments on a Global basis is essential.
